Larry Jackson has a record of civil rights activism starting when he was a student in his hometown of Hearne, Texas, where there is a street named after him. And after moving to Austin for college, he didn't stop innovation. Jackson created a nonprofit that would soon spawn a popular annual, musical fixture in ATX.
