Sherrie Frachtman

For the last forty years, Sherrie Frachtman, a community volunteer, has served in numerous leadership positions in local nonprofits and area schools while making her growing family her priority. Prior to this she taught in the field of Special Education for ten years after receiving her BA at Southern Methodist University and her MEd at Texas Woman’s University. In addition to serving on the board of Austin PBS, she serves on the board of Austin Speech Labs as well as the Caritas of Austin Community Advisory Board and the Washington University Austin-San Antonio Regional Cabinet. She also devotes her energy and time to enjoying her three grandchildren and her father.
