Send Decibel Your Essential Worker Videos

Decibel is looking for short, simple videos taken on a phone that highlight the jobs of essential workers during this pandemic.

Instuctions:

We are asking essential workers to turn the camera on themselves, record and say,
"Hi I’m Jane Doe and I’m a (nurse, store clerk, bus driver, etc.)."

And then please answer the below questions:

• Where do you work?
  
• What’s a typical day like?
  
• How has the pandemic changed your job role?
  
• In what ways are you protecting yourself at work?
  

Please repeat the question or try to phrase responses in complete sentences when answering these questions. For example, you would say, "I work at HEB" or "I’m a cashier at HEB" instead of just saying “cashier at HEB.”

Once the video is completed, please e-mail it to news@klru.org

Decibel plans to edit submissions together for a segment during our COVID-19 Update program on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m. We will also utilize them at decibelatx.org and on our Decibel Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
