It's no secret that Austin PBS receives most of our funding (more than 85%) from viewers like you! In fact, we proudly broadcast that fact every chance we can. All the programming we air, all the educational resources we provide and every event, workshop and screening is possible because of the generosity of neighbors like you. This is truly a community-supported space that simply wouldn't exist without local contributions.

Today is Giving Tuesday! Austin PBS has just one day — until 11:59 p.m. tonight — to raise $50,000! And on this global day of giving, our new Austin PBS Business My Vinyasa Practice is giving back with a $10,000 challenge match. Every dollar you donate today is automatically doubled by our yoga friends. That's potentially $20,000 toward our fundraising efforts! Your gift can help us meet the needs of every Central Texan who relies on public media.

The work of Austin PBS has never been more important. As the fall semester wraps up this month, caregivers, teachers and students continue to use our grade-tiered content twice as much as in 2019. The election is over, but the teams at PBS NewsHour, Washington Week and Frontline remain committed to reporting on the state of our country and the world, with thorough investigations and zero sensationalism. And with the holiday season upon us, Austin PBS will be adding extra comfort and cheer with engaging seasonal shows, including the premieres of Ella Wishes You A Swinging Christmas with Vanessa Williams and Call the Midwife: Holiday Special 2020.
