Q Night at the Movies presents 1995's Sense and Sensibility starring Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Kate Winslet and Hugh Grant. This beautiful film garnered Thompson an Academy Award for best adapted screenplay. Director Ang Lee won Berlin's Golden Bear award for his work; the first director to ever receive this accolade twice. Before the film we take a look at another Austen novel that was never completed by the author, along with other unfinished works by master writers. After the feature, we hear a collection of royal secrets thoughout the ages from the servants who silently witnessed t history behind closed doors. It all starts at 7:05 p.m. Saturday on Q.

Secrets of the Royal Servants at 10:15 p.m. The royal family has always projected an immaculate image, but now the royal servants reveal what goes on behind closed doors; former staff members recount amusing incidents; historian Kate Williams explores servant duties from ancient times.
