Back to School Routines

Posted on September 1, 2024

September means school is back in session and the whole family is adjusting to a new schedule and routine! PBS Kids is here to help with resources that go beyond our shows to get kids (and parents!) ready for a great year.

Whether your kids are anxious about their first day, picky eaters, or just having trouble with early mornings, we have resources to help the whole family.

Check out this kid-approved muffin recipe that will keep your young ones fueled for a day full of learning.

The first few days or weeks of school can bring up a lot of new or unexpected emotions. Daniel Tiger has songs that can help kids express their feelings and learn how to process some big changes in their schedule!

It can be tough for parents to adjust their own routines during back to school time, let alone set new ones for kids. We have plenty of resources available to help you tackle every step of the process and make it more manageable for everyone.
