ATX Together: Disability and Employment
Posted on September 27, 2019
ATX Together: Disability and Employment brings together a cross section of the community to engage in conversation about a complex issue that many think receives far too little attention: employment for people with disabilities.
Representatives from the state government, non-profits, employers, and most importantly, people with disabilities discuss their experiences, barriers they've encountered as they've looked for jobs, what is being done to help people find meaningful employment and stories of success from the workplace.
Here is a list of organizations and employers mentioned on the show.
Explore these resources and share with others who might benefit from their programs.
