Q Night at the Movies features The Big Bounce 11/14

Q Night at the Movies presents the 2004 comedy crime film The Big Bounce. Before the film we hear from the creators of the Netflix darling Glow. Following the movie, stay put for an evening of music. It all starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Q.

On Story at 7:30 p.m. GLOW co-creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch talk about adapting the real-life GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling as a fictional series.

Feature Film The Big Bounce at 8 p.m. Based on a book by Elmore Leonard. This heist-comedy stars Owen Wilson, Charlie Sheen and Morgan Freeman, with an appearance from local legend Willie Nelson.

Summer Jam 2020 at 9:30 p.m. The third annual Summer Jam showcase is hosted by Confucius Jones and Aaron "Fresh" Knight of The Breaks. Summer Jam started in 2018 as a way to highlight Austin's growing roster of hip hop and R&B musicians.

First Avenue: Closer to the Stars at 10:29 p.m. Archival photos and footage showcase the story of the Minneapolis nightclub that launched the careers of local bands such as the Replacements and Soul Asylum.

The Historic Attucks Theatre: Apollo of the South at 11:29 p.m. The 600-seat Attucks Theatre in Norfolk, Virginia, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, celebrates 100 years of serving as a cultural arts center that educates and inspires.
