Islands Without Cars.

Islands Without Cars

This travel series hosted by Kira Hesser offers viewers an inside look at remote islands throughout Europe. On these small, sparsely populated isles, people exist without cars, buses or trains for transportation. Most travel and transport goods by donkey, bicycle or other nonmotorized vehicles. The series takes viewers to Hydra, one of the Saronic Islands of Greece; Sark in the Channel Islands; Inis Meáin in Ireland; the Aeolian Islands in Italy; Zlarin and Krapanj in Croatia; and Porquerolles in France.
