Urban Conversion

Set in Colorado, this series traces a family's efforts to lead a more eco-friendly, environmentally-conscious lifestyle. At the urging of his wife, Gina, fiscally conservative businessman Rodman Schley agrees to an "urban conversion." Over the course of the series, Rodman learns about backyard bookkeeping, farm-to-table eating, alternative fuels, and home brewing. The family visits Detroit, where urban farming helps a community heal, and Washington, D.C., where White House chef Sam Kass offers a tour of first lady Michelle Obama's vegetable garden.
